Singapore – Tech Data has been appointed as the official distributor for CloudCasa by Catalogic Software in Singapore and Malaysia, marking a fresh push into cloud-native data resilience across the two markets.
The appointment builds on an existing partnership the companies have run successfully in Australia and New Zealand.
As a result, partners across Singapore and Malaysia now gain access to purpose-built Kubernetes data protection, disaster recovery and migration capabilities.
The move comes as demand grows for resilient cloud-native environments throughout the region.
Investment in cloud, AI and digital infrastructure is accelerating across Singapore and Malaysia, and this is driving the need for secure, resilient application environments.
Meanwhile, organisations are increasingly adopting Kubernetes and containerised applications, yet traditional data protection solutions often fall short of what modern workloads require.
Specifically, these legacy tools frequently lack the capabilities needed to protect, recover and move workloads across hybrid environments.
CloudCasa aims to close that gap, offering a purpose-built Kubernetes data protection, disaster recovery and migration platform for cloud, edge and data centre environments.
Through Tech Data’s cloud-native ecosystem, partners will be able to integrate CloudCasa into wider hybrid and multi-cloud solution architectures.
Tech Data, for its part, will support resellers, managed service providers, system integrators and enterprise partners through its local market reach, technical expertise, enablement programmes and go-to-market capabilities.
Its Tech Centre of Excellence and solutions aggregation capabilities are expected to help partners strengthen technical skills, accelerate deployment and build differentiated service offerings around cloud-native resilience.

In terms of capabilities, CloudCasa enables service providers to introduce new disaster recovery offerings, while also empowering platform engineering teams to give application teams self-service backup and recovery tools.
Among its key differentiated capabilities are a purpose-built architecture for service providers and enterprises, multi-tenancy support, and file-level recovery granularity.
The platform also offers fine-grained role-based access control, protection for container storage across hybrid environments, and flexible SaaS and self-hosted deployment models.
For Catalogic Software, the partnership represents a strategic step in its broader regional expansion.
