Singapore – TrendAI, the enterprise-focused AI security platform developed by Trend Micro Incorporated, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Anthropic to integrate Claude models across its systems. The arrangement is intended to support automated processes, agent-driven workflows, AI-based security operations, and enhanced research into vulnerabilities affecting AI environments and infrastructure. The integration is also expected to contribute to improved identification of weaknesses and more coordinated risk mitigation in operational settings. The development forms part of TrendAI’s broader effort to position itself within the emerging AI security segment, as its enterprise division continues to evolve. The company aims to extend its capabilities globally through partnerships that combine research, defensive technologies, and product innovation. “This next phase is about scaling that vision globally, with leading partners like Anthropic,” Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer, Head of TrendAI, shared. “Our broad, strategic collaboration across research, defence, and innovation will define how AI is secured moving forward." The deployment of Claude models will span several areas, including threat analysis, platform development, operational execution, and commercial expansion. These functions are designed to address the full lifecycle of AI security, from detecting vulnerabilities to enabling automated protection and supporting AI-driven operational frameworks. “By using Claude to power TrendAI Vision One and initiatives like TrendAI Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) and Pwn2Own, we are advancing the next iteration of vulnerability discovery and reporting—and tilting the scales toward defenders,” Ash Alhashim, Head of Cybersecurity GTM at Anthropic, stated. A key aspect of the partnership involves expanding research into risks associated with AI systems, particularly as the potential attack surface continues to grow. By leveraging established programmes, the company intends to bring real-world vulnerability insights into AI development processes, allowing critical issues to be identified and addressed before deployment. In addition, the use of Anthropic’s models is expected to enhance platform capabilities by supporting automation, reducing operational complexity, and enabling organisations to respond more efficiently to security challenges as they scale their use of artificial intelligence technologies.
