Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – ViewQuest, a telecommunications, network, and security services firm, has announced that it has appointed Simon Ang as the new head of enterprise sales in Malaysia.
With this appointment, Ang will be responsible for the company’s enterprise engagement strategy, strengthening industry collaborations, and providing innovative solutions that support the country’s digital transformation.
Ang brings more than three decades of experience in IT and telecommunications, particularly in enterprise sales, business development, and strategic account management.
Before joining the company, he also worked as DCConnect’s director of Carrier Relations. This role allowed him to spearhead telecom network wholesale operations in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Ang previously led the Platform and Managed Services unit at NTT MSC Sdn Bhd’s Cloud Services Division. He also held key leadership roles at global companies such as IBM, HP, and PCCW, where he led market expansion, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
