Singapore – SAP has announced two senior leadership appointments intended to support its expansion strategy across Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian region. The appointments are positioned to strengthen the company’s regional operations and support organisations seeking to adopt cloud-based and AI-driven technologies to improve business performance.
Sianto Wongjoyo has been named managing director for Indonesia, bringing more than 25 years of experience in business leadership, with a background in team development, partner engagement and the delivery of large-scale cloud initiatives.
In this role, Sianto will be responsible for overseeing SAP’s business strategy, operational execution and customer engagement in Indonesia. His remit includes supporting local organisations as they scale through technology-led innovation and advancing SAP’s data- and AI-oriented priorities in collaboration with its partner network.
“Indonesia’s digital economy is one of the fastest-growing in Southeast Asia, and I am excited to bring my experience to lead SAP Indonesia during a pivotal moment in the adoption of AI and cloud technologies,” Sianto shared.
“I look forward to helping Indonesian customers leverage the latest innovations to drive meaningful business transformations.”
Indonesia continues to experience rapid digital development, particularly in the adoption of cloud and AI technologies, creating opportunities for organisations to modernise operations and improve competitiveness. SAP’s leadership focus in the country is intended to align with these trends by supporting customers through technology transformation initiatives.
In a separate appointment, Saket Ranjan has been named head of corporate for Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, he will oversee SAP’s corporate segment across the region, which serves upper mid-market and large enterprise customers requiring scalable technology platforms.
He brings close to 20 years of experience in expanding enterprise application portfolios, developing high-performing teams and supporting digital transformation programmes across Southeast Asia.
“I am thrilled to join SAP, an organisation that has the technology, expertise, and footprint to support customers in achieving tangible business outcomes in this new digital-first era,” Saket shared.

In his new role, Saket will focus on strengthening customer outcomes across the region by working closely with partners and supporting organisations as they advance digital transformation and AI adoption strategies. His responsibilities include aligning SAP’s technology offerings with customer growth objectives across multiple industries.
The appointments form part of SAP’s broader regional strategy to support organisations in Southeast Asia as they integrate intelligence and automation into core business processes, including finance, supply chain and professional services.
SAP stated that the combined experience of the new leaders is expected to contribute to customer success and long-term growth in an increasingly AI-driven business environment.
