Singapore – Marsh and Resilience have launched a new cyber risk offering across Asia that combines cyber insurance with 24/7 monitoring of policyholders’ external-facing infrastructure.
Called Cyber Protect, the programme is available exclusively through Marsh to organisations that purchase cyber insurance brokered by the company. It is being offered across Asia, excluding China.
The offering combines Marsh’s cyber insurance placement and claims expertise with Resilience’s Risk Operations Centre (ROC), an AI-powered service that monitors for vulnerabilities and potential threats. The ROC is included as a core component of the Cyber Protect programme at no additional cost to clients.
According to the companies, the service is designed to help organisations identify vulnerabilities that could lead to financial losses and take steps to address them before they are exploited.
The monitoring service continuously scans policyholders’ external attack surfaces and uses human validation to filter alerts. It also provides guidance intended to help security teams address identified risks. The service operates alongside existing security controls and does not require software to be installed or access to internal systems.
The launch comes as organisations in Asia face increasing cyber risks, including threats associated with artificial intelligence.
Marsh said its Cyber Buyer Study found that 50% of Asia-based organisations are confident in their cyber risk management and mitigation initiatives, compared with a global figure of 72%. The company also said almost three in 10 cyber and social engineering attacks globally target Asia.
“As cyber threats continue to accelerate, prevention alone is no longer sufficient. Managing cyber risk today demands both the ability to detect and respond to threats early, and the financial protection to recover when the inevitable incident occurs,” said Sean Letz, Cyber Leader, Marsh Asia.
“Cyber Protect helps clients detect critical vulnerabilities earlier, take action faster, and strengthen their risk profile, supporting stronger resilience, improved insurability, and greater confidence in recovery,” he continued.
“Asia represents one of the most important developing cyber risk markets in the world, and we are proud to be bringing this unique solution to market with Marsh. We built Resilience around a single belief: that the highest value we can deliver is a loss that never happens,” said Mario Vitale, President of Resilience.
“Our platform continuously hunts for threats across clients’ external attack surfaces, prioritizing the vulnerabilities most likely to cause financial harm before an attacker can act. Asian businesses now have access to that capability — together with the expertise of one of the world’s most trusted insurance partners,” Vitale continued.
