Sydney, Australia – HubSpot, a customer relationship management platform provider, has recently unveiled its first data centre in Australia, allowing local businesses to host their data onshore in the country.

Located in Sydney, the new infrastructure will further offer HubSpot customers enhanced regional performance, increased reliability, and stronger compliance capabilities. This will enable better experiences for the company’s customers and allow it to compete more effectively in the digital economy.

Said investment ensures that businesses in regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, and government can confidently meet Australia’s data residency requirements.

With the ability to host data locally, customers can now utilise the full potential of HubSpot’s integrated platform while staying aligned with onshore data requirements. This initiative highlights the company’s long-standing commitment to empowering businesses in the region.

Dan Bognar, vice president and managing director JAPAC at HubSpot, said, “Australian businesses of all sizes need uncompromising performance, and we’re investing to deliver exactly that. As AI and customer expectations reshape the competitive landscape, organisations need a customer platform they can trust. Our local infrastructure demonstrates our long-term commitment to helping businesses across the region grow better.

“Australia’s digital economy represents a significant opportunity, and businesses need the right foundation to capture it. Our investment in local infrastructure reflects our deep commitment to empowering Australian organisations with the tools they need to accelerate their digital transformation and unlock new possibilities,” Bognar added.

As one of HubSpot’s initial local customers, Australian network provider Fetch TV will store its data in the new data centre.

Speaking about it, Dominic Arena, CEO at Fetch TV, also commented, “For Fetch, Australian Data Sovereignty is a key pillar of our unique value proposition to our customers—Australian family households. So the Australian data centre is an important enabler and reason for us to choose to work with HubSpot for our CRM solution.”

The recent launch of the data centre is a part of HubSpot’s global infrastructure expansion, which includes the Australian data centre and plans to launch two more centres in the USA and Canada.
