Singapore – Adyen, a financial technology services platform, has recently teamed up with China’s tea drink chain HEYTEA to streamline payment processing across the latter’s physical stores and online platforms.

In its latest initiative, HEYTEA will integrate Adyen’s unified commerce technology and global acquiring solutions. This partnership will enable its plans for global expansion, introducing the company’s signature creative brews to markets in the U.S., U.K., Singapore, and Australia.

Said integration will further allow HEYTEA to maximise the advantages of its global acquiring network, facilitating faster transactions through local payment methods such as WeChat Pay.

“Adyen’s technology allows us to seamlessly deliver on our mission to deliver a modern tea experience to customers globally. Adyen’s fast processing and support of a wide range of local payment methods allow us to focus on delighting customers without worrying about payment complexities,” an official spokesperson from HEYTEA commented.

Meanwhile, Warren Hayashi, president of Asia-Pacific at Adyen, remarked, “Adyen is proud to partner with HEYTEA as it brings its iconic ‘new-style tea’ to customers around the globe.”

“Expanding into new markets presents both opportunities and challenges, and we’re proud that HEYTEA has trusted Adyen to power its global growth,” Hayashi added.
