Singapore – Software development firm Freshworks has recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of software development company Device42. This strategic acquisition signifies a notable milestone for the company, which emphasises their commitment to empowering IT teams with robust IT asset management solutions.
With this integration, customers will have access to a unified platform that delivers enhanced IT service management and IT asset management software capabilities.
This includes advanced asset discovery and application dependency mapping, enabling them to anticipate risks more effectively and resolve incidents with greater speed.
Furthermore, IT and operations teams will also gain access to an up-to-date, credible source of IT asset data once Freshworks and Device42 are combined in a single integrated platform.
This collaboration will empower users to predict issues, automate remediation for critical IT services, better support customers and employees, optimise delivery costs, and mitigate risks to critical services.
Dennis Woodside, chief executive officer at Freshworks, commented, “This move reinforces our position in the ITSM market and shows our commitment to delivering value to IT teams worldwide. By combining our offerings with Device42’s, we’re even better positioned to meet the needs of both Freshworks and Device42 customers and partners to drive innovation in IT asset management.”
