Dataiku welcomes Andrew Boyd to lead APJ growth strategy

Singapore – Dataiku has appointed Andrew Boyd as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific and Japan region, tasking him with overseeing regional expansion as organisations increasingly seek to translate AI initiatives into measurable business results.

In this position, Andrew will be responsible for directing commercial strategy and operations across markets, including Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. His remit includes increasing enterprise uptake, developing partnerships, and supporting organisations in deploying AI systems in a structured and scalable manner aligned with business objectives.

The appointment comes as companies across the region shift from exploratory AI projects towards more outcome-driven implementations, with a stronger emphasis on governance and accountability. Andrew is expected to guide regional efforts to address these demands by aligning technological deployment with operational performance and regulatory considerations.

“Having spent my career helping organisations scale technology across APJ, I’ve seen that success in this region requires more than innovation— it demands strong governance, local expertise, and a clear link to business outcomes,” Andrew shared.

“As AI adoption accelerates, organisations are under pressure to move beyond experimentation and deliver real value. Dataiku is uniquely positioned to support that shift, giving enterprises the control, flexibility, and trust they need to operationalise AI at scale.”

With over two decades of experience in enterprise technology across Asia Pacific and Japan, Andrew has led market expansion initiatives, strengthened customer and partner ecosystems, and managed operations in complex and regulated environments. His background is considered relevant to supporting organisations seeking to implement artificial intelligence in a controlled and effective way.

“Andrew has a strong track record of building high-performing businesses in complex markets, and his leadership will be key as we help customers make AI a core part of how they operate,”  Phil Coady, Chief Revenue Officer at Dataiku, commented.

Dataiku is continuing to expand its global footprint as adoption of enterprise AI accelerates. The company works with more than 750 organisations worldwide, supporting the transition from isolated use cases to broader, organisation-wide deployment of artificial intelligence capabilities.
