Singapore – CrowdStrike has appointed Jonathon Dixon as vice president and managing director for Japan and the Asia Pacific region, with responsibility for advancing regional growth and supporting the wider adoption of AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities.
In this role, Jonathan will oversee the expansion of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform across the JAPAC market, as organisations seek to modernise security operations in response to increasingly complex digital threats.
Jonathan brings more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and information technology leadership, with a background in building regional scale, strengthening partner ecosystems and driving commercial performance across APAC.
He most recently held the position of vice president and managing director for JAPAC at Verkada, where he was responsible for go-to-market strategy and operational execution, contributing to the company’s expanded footprint across the region.
“CrowdStrike is leading cybersecurity in the AI era, delivering the game-changing technology that organisations throughout JAPAC need to secure a rapidly evolving threat landscape,” Jonathan commented.
“I am thrilled to be joining CrowdStrike as the company continues to revolutionise cybersecurity and define AI-native platform protection.”
Prior to Verkada, Dixon served as vice president and managing director for JAPAC and Greater China at Cloudflare. During his tenure, the region recorded sustained growth and became one of the company’s strongest-performing markets.
Earlier in his career, Dixon held senior leadership roles at global technology providers including AWS, Cisco and IBM, where he managed large regional portfolios and supported revenue growth through channel development, sales strategy and operational management.
“We are pleased to welcome Jonathon as we continue to build momentum across JAPAC. He brings a rare mix of regional insight and experience scaling businesses, which will be critical to our continued growth in the region,” Michael Sentonas, president of CrowdStrike, commented.
“Under Jonathon’s leadership, we will continue to expand our presence across the region and support more organisations in strengthening their security posture, as traditional approaches struggle to keep pace with today’s threat landscape.”
The appointment reflects CrowdStrike’s continued focus on JAPAC as a key growth area, as enterprises accelerate digital transformation and reassess security frameworks to address emerging risks associated with cloud adoption, AI and evolving threat actors.
Under Jonathan’s leadership, the company aims to deepen its regional presence and support customers in strengthening cyber resilience through platform-based security approaches.
