Singapore – Google Cloud, a software development firm, has recently announced the introduction of Google AgentSpace, an AI agent and search platform for enterprises. This new solution connects Gemini’s advanced reasoning, Google search capabilities, and enterprise data, enabling employees to be highly productive with a single prompt.
As part of the launch, the firm also shared three crucial ways how the platform unlocks enterprise expertise. This includes developing new ways to interact and engage with enterprise data using NotebookLM Plus.
In this sense, Google’s NotebookLM Plus will further allow employees to upload information to synthesise, uncover insights, and enjoy new ways of engaging with data, such as podcast-like audio overviews, and more.
Another interesting feature involves Google Agentspace offering employees a single, company-branded multimodal search agent that acts as a central source of enterprise truth for their entire organisation.
Powered by Google’s search capabilities, the solution can deliver conversational assistance, answer complex questions, make proactive suggestions, and take actions based on a company’s unique information. It can further process both unstructured data, such as documents and emails, and structured data, such as tables.
Lastly, Google Agentspace can empower expert agents to automate their business functions, with it serving as the launch point for custom AI agents that apply generative AI contextually.
Enterprises can further support their employees in marketing, finance, legal, engineering, and more to conduct better research, draft content quickly, and automate repetitive tasks, including multi-step workflows.
With Agentspace, enterprises can scale AI by offering a straightforward interface where employees can conveniently explore and access a range of expert agents.
In the future, employees will be able to use a low-code visual tool to build and adjust their personal expert agents on the platform.
In addition, said initiative will also allow business analysts to effortlessly uncover industry trends and create compelling, data-driven presentations fuelled by AI-generated insights. On the other hand, HR teams can transform the employee experience with streamlined onboarding.
Software engineers can also proactively identify and resolve bugs, enabling them to build and iterate with greater efficiency and accelerate deployment cycles, while marketers can unlock deeper performance analysis, optimise content recommendations, and fine-tune campaigns effortlessly.
Built on Google Cloud’s secure infrastructure, Agentspace offers enterprises the confidence to deploy AI agents across their organization. It further provides comprehensive IT controls, such as role-based access control, virtual private cloud service controls, and identity and access management integration, ensuring data protection and compliance at all times.
Mark Micallef, managing director, Southeast Asia at Google Cloud, said, “For enterprises, brilliance isn’t just about individual genius—it’s about the collective intelligence within an organisation. But this brilliance is often hidden in silos, inaccessible to those who need it most, when they need it most. Our studies show that enterprise workers use an average of four to six tools just to ask a question and get an answer.”
“With Google Agentspace, we’re providing enterprise workers with a team of AI agents that act as their helpful sidekicks. These AI agents help employees search for information, obtain insights, generate content, and take actions across enterprise systems—all with a single prompt, empowering them to focus on their most impactful work and unlock new levels of productivity,” he added.
