Hong Kong – Vpon, a Hong Kong-based big data firm, has recently announced the appointment of Yoshitaka Shinohara as its new chief executive officer. This move comes after the official resignation of Victor Wu as the chairman of the board and CEO of the company.
Taking on this position, Shinohara, who presently holds the position of group chief strategy office and general manager at Vpon Japan, will focus on promoting the company’s expansion in Japan. The said initiative further extends to advancing the cross-border strategy “Cool Japan & Nations” while also leveraging AI and big data analysis technologies to create unique value for our clients and partners.
Serving as the CSO and general manager since 2014, Shinohara brings a strong background in big data and cross-border market expansion.
In the future, the company is set to continue strengthening their presence in the Japan market while actively exploring new markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
