Manila, Philippines – Darwinbox, a human resources management systems provider, has continued to enhance the Philippines’ Security Bank Corporation with the goal of supporting companies to optimise their human resources functions and enhance overall operational efficiency.

In particular, the bank has already experienced significant improvements in its HR processes, with Darwinbox automating close to 90% of HR processes. This capability to automate led to a 67% increase in HR operational efficiency within the first year, exceeding the initial 30% projection.

This has further improved report generation speed by 30%, and the time required for performance administration has been reduced by 75%, ensuring full compliance with policies.

According to Nerissa Berba, EVP and chief people officer at Security Bank, the solution brought by Darwinbox met all the bank’s HCM requirements. These cover the entire employee lifecycle, from hire to retirement, and can all be managed within Darwinbox, enabling the bank to have a unified system for all employee-related needs.

The bank has also implemented most of the Darwinbox modules, ensuring a consistent experience across the majority of the organisation and HR processes.

Moreover, it features a simple and user-friendly interface with robust functionality and an intuitive mobile app, significantly enhancing the bank’s operations. The platform’s no-code backend feature, on the other hand, also empowers its HR team to customise processes to the organisation’s needs without external consultants.

Talking about the system, Berba further shared, “[Darwinbox] is truly an empowering platform for an enterprise that is customer-first and people-empowered. Our commitment to a future-ready organisation hinged on a compelling employee value proposition and a transformative work culture.”

At present, Darwinbox is actively expanding its footprint in the Philippines, aiming to serve a range of sectors by leveraging its cutting-edge HR technology to meet the varied needs of organisations in the region.

This expansion initiative is in line with the company’s mission to deliver comprehensive and user-friendly HR solutions tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the Philippine market.
