Sydney, Australia – WatchGuard Technologies has appointed Allison Clarke as Vice President of Partner Programmes and GTM Strategy, in a newly created role focused on its partner programmes and go-to-market initiatives.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Clarke will oversee the strategy, development and alignment of WatchGuard’s partner programmes and go-to-market activities across its routes to market.
Her responsibilities will include incorporating partner feedback into areas including programmes, enablement, pricing, packaging and product strategy.
“Our goal is simple: make WatchGuard the easiest company in cybersecurity to do business with,” said Joe Smolarski, CEO of WatchGuard.
“Partners are at the centre of everything we do, and Allison’s appointment reflects our commitment to building a more connected, frictionless partner experience. Her track record of creating programs that help partners grow makes her the right leader to help drive our next phase of channel success,” Smolarski continued.
Clarke brings more than 20 years of experience in channel and go-to-market leadership. Before joining WatchGuard, she spent nearly a decade at Sophos, where she worked on the company’s global channel strategy and partner programmes.
She most recently served as Vice President of GTM and Partner Programmes at SonicWall. Earlier in her career, Clarke held leadership positions at McAfee, where she worked on channel programmes aimed at supporting business growth.
“WatchGuard’s commitment to its partners is one of the things that attracted me to the company. Partners want to do business on their terms, through the routes and motions that work best for them,” said Allison Clarke, Vice President of Partner Programmes and GTM Strategy of WatchGuard Technologies.
“My focus is on ensuring every interaction with WatchGuard is as simple, consistent, and rewarding as possible. I’m especially looking forward to meeting our partner community at IMPACT in Nashville and hearing directly from them about how we can continue improving their experience and helping them grow,” Clarke continued.
WatchGuard said it will continue investing in its people, programmes and technologies as part of its channel-focused business model, with initiatives intended to support partners in growing their businesses and delivering security services to customers.
