Manila, Philippines – The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) has given the green light to the initial public offering of Mynt, Inc., the parent firm of e-wallet platform GCash.
Under the approved offer, Mynt will sell 8.03 billion primary and secondary common shares, comprising up to 1.61 billion primary shares and up to 6.42 billion secondary shares. An overallotment option of up to 1.20 billion secondary common shares has also been included.
Once listed, the company will trade on the PSE Main Board under the ticker symbol GCASH.
Shares will be priced at up to Php10.00 each, with the public offer period running from 6 to 12 October 2026. Ahead of that, a book building exercise on 1 October 2026 will determine the final offer price, while the tentative listing date has been set for 20 October 2026.
According to the PSE, the offering is on track to become the largest in the exchange’s history. “We welcome this highly anticipated IPO, which is poised to set the record as the largest public offering in PSE history,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.
“I hope this landmark listing will pave the way for more fintech and digital economy firms to go public and raise capital through the equities market,” Monzon added.
Monzon further pointed to the retail investment angle, noting that the IPO subscription will additionally be made available through GStocks within the GCash app.
“I am optimistic that this debut will drive strong market activity ahead of Q4. Considering that the IPO subscription will also be made available through GStocks in the GCash app, we expect to see a significant uptick in new retail investors,” he added.
Meanwhile, proceeds from the primary share sale will reportedly go towards funding digital financial services growth initiatives, product development, and general corporate purposes, according to the company.
