Gurugram, India – VVDN Technologies, an IT services and consulting firm, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with vehicle cybersecurity company SecureThings.ai.
This joint effort is aimed at enhancing global cybersecurity across automotive, networking, Wi-Fi, IoT, and cloud platforms, with a specific focus on the evolving needs of the connected vehicle ecosystem.
As part of the agreement, the collaboration allows the incorporation of the latter’s advanced cybersecurity solutions into automotive products and solutions designed and manufactured by VVDN for its customers.
Said initiative includes vehicle connectivity, in-vehicle infotainment and instrument clusters, ADAS solutions, software-defined vehicle (SDV) solutions, network and Wi-Fi devices, IoT, as well as cloud services and solutions.
It also intends to ensure that VVDN meets global regulatory requirements, which encompass the implementation of ISO 21434 standards for cybersecurity in the automotive industry.
Key initiatives under the partnership further include an intrusion detection and protection solutions feature designed to monitor, detect, and prevent cyber-attacks in real time. It also offers threat intelligence services for continuous monitoring, vulnerability detection, and correlation with products and solutions developed by VVDN for its customers.
Another interesting feature is the security research lab that focuses on developing customised security concepts to address the cybersecurity requirements of VVDN’s customers.
Lastly, the collaboration aims to deliver a red team as a service, which will be deployed to conduct independent cybersecurity assessments across multiple customer deployments, ensuring comprehensive protection.
