Hong Kong – In a concerted effort to strengthen its security solutions, Netskope, along with global telecommunications and technology company Telstra, have announced their expanded partnership and efforts, advancing the company’s tech solutions for seamless delivery of comprehensive data and application protection.

With this expansion, Telstra can now offer a fully Netskope-managed cloud-native secure access service edge, which includes Zero Trust Network Access. This further enables the two to address the changing needs of the digital workplace and lessen the constantly evolving landscape of cyber threats.

The SASE platform from Netskope, in particular, provides software-defined wide-area networking and security services edge technologies like ZTNA, Next Generation Secure Web Gateway, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Cloud Firewall, and advanced threat and data protection. These technologies support a zero-trust network and a security transformation.

Following this venture, Geraldine Kor, South Asia managing director and head of global enterprise at Telstra International, remarked, “In an era of distributed workforces, decentralised applications, external ecosystems, and increasing digital interactions, businesses need the right digital trust strategy and framework as cybersecurity underpins the connectivity, devices, and data that define these systems and services.

“Netskope’s technology was conceived specifically for the challenges our customers face today, and we are pleased to have expanded our partnership with an innovative company to elevate our customers’ security posture,” added Geraldine Kor.

David Rogers, senior vice president, global channels at Netskope, also stressed the importance of this project, stating, “Netskope’s platform is underpinned by its best-in-class zero trust engine, enabling Telstra International to deliver comprehensive data and application protection while ensuring an exemplary user experience.”

In addition, this strengthened collaboration laid the foundation for the NewEdge global network, a security private cloud built from the ground up to guarantee security without performance trade-offs. This is powered by Netskope’s architecture and enables quick and safe access to data, applications, and websites from any place.

Telstra International customers now have access to top-notch security knowledge and resources, guaranteeing consistent protection and compliance, regardless of their geographically dispersed operations.
