Thailand – As part of its efforts to advance the customer’s billing system, Netcracker Technology has announced an expanded strategic collaboration with Thailand’s largest mobile operator, Advanced Info Service (AIS).

For this partnership, a designated management system will be utilised, integrating all billing processes for all customers into Netcracker revenue management.

This consolidation intends to shorten the time to market, as well as achieve a unified perspective on sales and revenue. Said initiative also aims to leverage the capability to bundle products and the overall customer experience.

Furthermore, the extended partnership aims to employ the Netcracker cloud platform, serving as the company’s foundation for advancing business performance and agility.

The deployment is set to enhance customer billing management and converged rating and charging from revenue management, as well as CI/CD methodologies for continuous and seamless updates.

Commenting on the partnership, Suppachai Panichayunon, head of solutions business unit at AIS, said, “Having a converged billing platform that conforms to an industry-aligned architecture and supports different deployment models and the ability to test and roll out new products and offers will give us a significant advantage in our market.”

“With the success we’ve achieved with Netcracker over the years, extending the collaboration will only yield additional positive outcomes,” he added.

Meanwhile, Yaniv Zilberman, vice president at Netcracker, also shared, “Our long history with AIS has given us many opportunities, including this latest engagement. We are excited to take the next step with AIS to help create a next-generation IT landscape that will support current and future business needs.”
