Singapore – VNG Digital business member GreenNode has recently announced its recent collaboration with computer hardware manufacturing firm Nvidia to elevate the capabilities of generative artificial intelligence in Asia-Pacific. This initiative enabled the company to emerge as a key player in the AI cloud as well as in driving generative AI advancements across the region.

At the same time, the company’s partnerships with ST Telemedia Global Data Centres and VAST Data have allowed them to offer strong GPU cloud infrastructure, allowing customers worldwide to seamlessly access and utilise powerful AI capabilities.

Given that it is a Cloud Service Partner (CSP) of U.S. chipmaker Nvidia, the company is also able to advance its service offerings through its priority access to Nvidia’s premier chips and AI factory solutions.

In addition, GreenNode has also been at the forefront of developing generative AI technologies and applications, with notable developments that include a 34-billion-parameter Vietnamese Large Language Model (LLM).

Among the said technologies is also a No-Code Chatbot platform that facilitates high-performance, 24/7 customer service with AI-driven chatbots capable of handling complex Vietnamese interactions and precise question-and-answer sessions.

Meanwhile, the company has also launched “Artian,” a stable diffusion-powered application, in collaboration with VNGGames. This application is aimed at improving the design and production of game characters and multimedia content, all powered by GreenNode’s advanced GPU cloud infrastructure.

Commenting about the initiative, Sunil Chavan, vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan at VAST Data, said, “We are excited to collaborate with GreenNode to drive AI advancements in the APAC region and beyond. Accessing high-demand resources like Nvidia H100 GPUs has been a challenge for AI startups.”

“By combining GreenNode’s instant access to H100 GPUs and VAST’s unique data platform built from the ground up for AI workloads, we can provide a seamless and resilient AI-as-a-service that empowers organisations to deliver their innovative AI solution to market much faster,” added Sunil.

Tung Vu, head of product at GreenNode and VNG Digital Business, also shared, “GreenNode is thrilled to be a driving force behind Asia’s booming AI innovations. Our GPU Cloud offering will facilitate regional AI trailblazers in delivering exceptional AI initiatives effectively.”

Since April 2024, the company’s data centres in Thailand and Vietnam have been equipped with thousands of high-performance Nvidia H100 GPUs. The said facilities provide efficient and rapid training of large language models (LLMs), expediting the delivery of generative AI solutions to businesses.
