Shanghai, China – FinVolution, a financial tech platform, has recently unveiled that its Indonesian financial app AdaKami secured a funding partnership with digital-focused financial services firm PT Super Bank Indonesia.

In this initiative, Super Bank will offer AdaKami a funding facility worth 500.0 billion Rupiah (approximately US$32.0m). This strategy underscored the financial app’s recognition by a leading local bank after successfully shifting its focus to higher-quality borrowers.

Furthermore, the collaboration also enables Superbank to become AdaKami’s strong funding partner in Indonesia. Presently, the firm has already built partnerships with lenders, including Superbank, Seabank, Bank Jago, Bank Permata, and OCBC NISP, among others.

“We are proud to collaborate with Superbank to serve our growing customer base in Indonesia,” said Tiezheng Li, vice chairman and chief executive officer at FinVolution Group

“With our transition to better-quality borrowers, we continue to attract reputable partners in the region, strengthening our reputation while diversifying our funding sources and improving our funding costs. By expanding our footprint and strengthening our local relationships, we are steadily advancing our mission of promoting financial inclusion while growing our business,” he added.
