Singapore – Canon Singapore has introduced an expanded cybersecurity offering developed in collaboration with ESET, adding a range of digital security services aimed at helping organisations strengthen operational resilience against cyber threats.
The new suite broadens Canon Singapore’s enterprise technology capabilities and includes managed detection and response services, cybersecurity awareness training, and customised security solutions for businesses with more complex operational requirements.
The announcement comes amid growing concerns around cyber risks affecting organisations in Singapore. Data from the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore has shown a significant rise in phishing incidents, with sectors including manufacturing and banking among those targeted. SMEs have also continued to face increasing exposure to cyber attacks as digital adoption expands across industries.
“As businesses become more digitally connected, we are seeing a clear shift in the threat landscape, with cyberattacks now targeting every touchpoint of an organisation,” Too Kok Yong, Head of Domestic Operations Group at Canon Singapore, stated.
“With the addition of the new cybersecurity suite, we are providing a unified defence that secures the entire business ecosystem—from the printer in the office to the network behind it.”
The enhanced portfolio is intended to support organisations in integrating cybersecurity considerations into broader business continuity and operational planning strategies. The company mentioned the expanded offering reflects a wider industry shift towards embedding security measures across both physical and digital infrastructure.
Additionally, the managed detection and response services provide round-the-clock monitoring across endpoints, email systems and cloud environments, alongside vulnerability management, patch deployment and threat investigation capabilities. An additional enterprise-focused tier includes advanced threat analysis and remote forensic incident response support.
Canon Singapore has also added a cybersecurity awareness training platform that uses interactive learning modules and phishing simulation exercises designed to help organisations improve employee awareness of cyber risks.
The company is offering tailored cybersecurity deployments for organisations operating within more complex digital environments. These services are intended to support sectors such as manufacturing, where specialised operational systems and critical infrastructure may require customised security frameworks.
