Manila, Philippines – Philippine-based boutique airline Airswift has recently announced that it has partnered with digital payment service and technology provider AsiaPay to advance its payment services as well as expanding its presence in the market.

In this collaboration, Airswift has integrated PesoPay payment gateway into its operations, offering streamlined payment services to its passengers. This enables customers to easily connect to PesoPay once to access cards, eWallets, and netbanking payment options.

It also enhances the checkout experience for Airswift’s online passengers, ensuring a more convenient travel experience and increased transaction acceptance rates.

Following the endeavour, Liza Tango, CFO at Airswift, said, “The facility enables Airswift to operate more cost-effectively, enabling the business to capitalise on the myriad of opportunities in the growing Asian network and possibly beyond the Philippines in the near future.”

“In support of our goals of growth and market expansion, Airswift needed a pioneering payment provider in Asia like AsiaPay with the scale and international expertise to help build our successful eCommerce presence in the Philippines,” she further emphasised.

Meanwhile, Alberto Javier, associate director of sales and marketing at AsiaPay, also commented, “We are proud to launch this service alongside Airswift. Being a leading digital payment service player in Asia, we understand our merchant’s pain points in addressing an ever-changing consumer need for a more convenient, user-friendly, and more secure way to pay online for tickets and travel services.”
