Bengaluru, India – Movate, a digital services firm, has recently appointed Jay Sahal as the company’s new chief financial officer.
In his capacity, Sahal will be responsible for overseeing crucial areas including audit, treasury, tax, insurance, financial analytics, and risk management with a focus on fostering data-driven decision-making.
He will also spearhead innovative investment strategies for the company’s Propel Unit, which serves as a hub for the company’s generative AI and broader AI technology advancements, reinforcing Movate’s leadership in digital transformation.
Sahal’s global expertise spans shareholder value creation, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and capital planning, and financial and strategic planning. He also has a deep understanding of AI technologies, enhancing his strategic impact.
Most recently, Sahal served as the CFO at Yellow.ai, a pioneering AI SaaS startup, and at Inspira Enterprise. He further spent 15 years at Wipro in various leadership roles before this.
As a chartered accountant, company secretary, and graduate of St. Xavier’s College, he integrates financial acumen with a strategic focus on technology and data-driven decision-making.
