Malaysia – Razer Fintech, the financial technology arm of Razer Inc., has recently announced its latest rebranding initiative as Fiuu, indicating its commitment to offer innovative payment solutions to merchants across the globe.

Through this move, the company will be operating as a standalone subsidiary of Razer Inc., empowering businesses and individuals with their evolving payment needs while also ensuring a forward-thinking approach to revolutionise the digital payments scene.

As a rebranded version, the company has released a new single name, logo, and identity that offers a playful and youthful spirit. This represents agility and growth, symbolising the company’s evolution and readiness to embrace the future challenges and opportunities.

Its brand motto, “Power Future Payments,” on the other hand, embodies the company’s commitment to delivering technologically advanced solutions as well as building trust and reliability in every transaction. Thus, it is committed to ensuring that its solutions are user-centric and innovative to provide a seamless, intuitive payment experience that enhances transactions.

Along with this rebranding initiative, Lee Li Meng is also set to assume the executive chairman position at Fiuu and delegate the chief executive officer position to Eng Sheng Guan, effective March 1, 2024.

Speaking about the endeavour, Lee Li Meng, executive chairman at Fiuu, said, “Our rebrand goes beyond just a name change; it embodies our vision to Power Future Payments. We strive to create seamless and empowering payment experiences that propel commerce into a new era. With Southeast Asia’s digital economy booming and projected revenue set to hit US$295 billion by 2025, our commitment to innovative payment solutions gains even greater significance.”

“This rebranding exercise marks a significant milestone for the company, which has grown significantly over the past few years, and it allows the fintech business to continue its path independently from the Razer brand, which is gaming-focused. I am proud of the achievements of the team, and I trust Sheng Guan will be able to take the company to greater heights with the continued support of our merchants and scheme partners,” added Lee.

Moving forward, partners and customers can anticipate an enhanced user experience through the upcoming updates to the interface, logo, and a range of enhancements to the application.
