Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Tencent Cloud has partnered with fintech company and digital bank Boost to support its digital transformation and innovation initiatives in Malaysia and Indonesia, covering cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and super app development.

Under the partnership, Tencent Cloud will provide its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) capabilities to Boost across the two markets. The companies said the cloud services are intended to help Boost streamline infrastructure management, improve operational agility and support business expansion.

Boost will also use Tencent Cloud Super App as a Service (TCSAS) to enhance its customer experience. The platform brings multiple financial services together in a single application, allowing consumers and businesses to access a wider range of digital financial solutions.

The third area of collaboration involves AI development. Boost and Tencent Cloud will work together on Boost’s AI roadmap, including co-creating products and using existing Tencent Cloud offerings.

Cloud infrastructure and AI development

The partnership comes as fintech companies across Southeast Asia expand their operations and services, driving demand for technology infrastructure that can support growth and digital product development.

“Southeast Asia continues to be one of the world’s most dynamic digital economies, creating significant opportunities for fintech innovation. We are pleased to partner with Boost as it advances its digital transformation journey across the region,” said Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud and Head of Tencent Cloud International

“By combining cloud infrastructure, AI capabilities, and super app technologies, Tencent Cloud is committed to helping Boost accelerate innovation, enhance customer experiences, and unlock new opportunities for growth in an increasingly digital economy,” Yeung continued.

“At Boost, we are committed to driving financial inclusion and digital innovation across Southeast Asia,” said Sheyantha Abeykoon, Group Chief Executive Officer of Boost

“Through our collaboration with Tencent Cloud, we are strengthening our technology foundation while exploring new AI-driven capabilities and super app experiences that will help us better serve consumers, merchants, and enterprise customers across the region. Together, we look forward to delivering more seamless, innovative and accessible financial services experiences for our users,” Abeykoon continued.

The companies said the collaboration will combine cloud infrastructure, AI capabilities and super app technology to support Boost’s services for consumers, merchants and enterprise customers.
